The lawn the street measures itself against.

Come home Friday to a lawn that's already done — cut sharp, edged clean, fed right. Build your plan below and see your monthly price before you've finished your coffee.

Mowing done properly

Here’s what your visit looks like: sharp blades, height set for the season (3 inches or better in summer — a scalped lawn is a thirsty, weedy lawn), clippings mulched to feed your turf, and edges that look cut rather than chewed. Trimming around your trees, beds and fence line is part of the visit — never an upsell.

Fertilization

Four timed feedings across the season — spring wake-up, summer slow-release, fall root-builder and a late-fall winterizer — matched to the sandy, clay and waterfront soils this area actually has. Included in Full Care plans.

Weed control

Ontario banned cosmetic herbicide spraying years ago, so real weed control here means crowding weeds out with healthy turf, removing what pushes through before it seeds, and timing visits to the germination windows. It is built into Full Care plans.

Sodding and patching

Dog spots, grub damage, the strip the plow caught — small repairs are handled within a plan with seed or sod as the spot demands. Full-lawn restarts are quoted separately after a look at the site.

A season on your lawn, month by month

May: first cuts, edges re-established, the spring feeding once your soil has properly warmed. June: the heavy growth weeks — this is where weekly service earns its keep and the lawn thickens. July and August: we raise the cutting height, ease off the pace as growth slows, and keep the summer feeding slow-release so heat doesn’t punish tender growth. September: the fall root-building feed and, where your lawn wants it, overseeding into the warm soil. October: last cuts, edges squared away for winter, and the late-fall winterizer that your lawn banks for a fast, green April.

You don’t have to remember any of this. That’s what you’re paying us for — a lawn that gets the right thing at the right time, every time, while you get your Saturdays back.

When the mowing has become a chore

For a lot of the people who call us, the lawn was their pride for thirty years — and pushing a mower up the slope in July just isn’t the pleasure it used to be. Handing it off doesn’t mean letting it go. You still decide how it’s kept; we just supply the sweat. Plenty of our customers walk the lawn with us on the first visit, tell us exactly how they like it done, and then enjoy being the ones who supervise with a lemonade.

How it works

  1. Build your plan

Property size, level of care, frequency — the monthly price shows instantly above.

  2. We confirm it

A firm quote within one business day, adjusted only if the satellite view says your lot is not what you guessed.

  3. Same crew, same day

Your lawn lands on a route and stays there — you learn our schedule, we learn your property.

  4. A better lawn each season

Feeding, height and timing compound. Year two looks better than year one.

Questions we hear a lot

Weekly or bi-weekly?

Weekly through the spring flush keeps growth manageable and looks consistently sharp; bi-weekly suits slower lawns and tighter budgets, priced slightly higher per visit because each cut takes more off. Many customers run weekly May–June and bi-weekly after.

Do you bag clippings?

We mulch by default — it feeds the lawn and keeps material out of the landfill — and bag when growth or conditions demand it, at no drama either way.

What if it rains on my day?

We shift the route, not skip it. Your lawn gets cut within the window every week it is growing.

Is there a contract?

Plans run seasonally, May through October, and we earn the renewal rather than lock you into it.

Do you service cottages?

Yes — including properties you are not at every week. Absentee-owner arrangements are common for us in Haliburton; we send photos after visits if you like.

Do I need to be home when you come?

Not at all. Most of our visits happen while people are at work, at the cottage, or out living their lives. If there's a gate code, a dog we should know about, or a shed we shouldn't block, we note it on your file the first week and it's handled every week after.

How does billing work?

One simple monthly amount, the same each month of the season, by e-transfer, card or cheque — whichever you're comfortable with. No meters running, no per-visit reconciliation, and your plan price doesn't change mid-season.
