About
You haven’t seen our trucks around long — and that’s exactly why you can expect our best work. Fifteen years of lawns, laneways, gardens and stone came before the J&J sign went up in Lindsay, and we’re starting here the way you’d want any company to start: with everything to prove, to you.
That’s not a slogan — it’s how a new company in a small town survives. Your job gets a crew that can’t afford a shortcut, a quote that means what it says, and an owner who picks up the phone. We’re fully insured, straight about pricing, and we’ll tell you when something isn’t worth your money — because the only marketing that matters here is you telling your neighbour we did right by you.
We live where you do — Kawartha Lakes, Peterborough and area, and the Haliburton Highlands. The person quoting your job is the person responsible for it being done right, and when you call, you get a name you know, not a ticket number.
A word about how we quote, because it matters to us: the number in writing is the number on the invoice. If we find something unexpected mid-job, work stops and the phone rings before the price changes. And if what you’re asking for isn’t worth your money — a wall where regrading would do, a treatment your lawn doesn’t need — we’ll say so and quote the cheaper thing. We’d rather earn less on this job and be your first call for the next twenty years’ worth.
If you’re on the fence, start small: one cleanup, one season of snow. Judge us on it, and we’ll earn the rest.
