Serving Kawartha Lakes, Peterborough & the Haliburton Highlands

Cottage-country property care in the Haliburton Highlands.

Haliburton, Minden and the lakes around them — including full care for properties whose owners are two hours away.

Built for absentee owners

Most of our Haliburton work is for owners who are not there every week. That changes the job: photo updates after visits, cottage opening and closing packages, storm-check visits, and snow contracts that keep a laneway open all winter so the property is reachable — and insurable — whether or not you are up.

Waterfront rules of thumb

Shoreline properties get lawn and fertilization programs chosen with the lake in mind — buffer zones, runoff-aware products, and honest advice about what should stay natural at the water’s edge rather than become lawn.

The long-laneway problem, solved

Half the properties up here sit at the end of laneways that town-based snow companies won’t touch — too long, too far, too much drift. Ours is one of the only estimators anywhere that prices a laneway honestly, per hundred feet, before you’ve given anyone your phone number. Try it on the snow removal page: slide the length, see the number, decide in your own time.

Questions we hear a lot

Can you keep our laneway open all winter if nobody is there?

Yes — that is one of our most common Haliburton contracts. Length-based laneway pricing is right in the snow estimator, and unattended-property clearing keeps you insurable and reachable.

Who do you call if you find a problem at our place?

You — with photos, right away, and a plain description of what we found and what we'd suggest. Nothing gets "fixed" and billed without your say-so. If it's urgent and we can't reach you, we do the minimum to protect the property and explain exactly what and why.
